How to Make a Spanned Archive With Winrar
- 1). Select the files or folders you want to archive, then right click and select "Add to Archive." A new archive options window opens.
- 2). Name the archive file and select a location to save the file in the new window that opened.
- 3). Click one of the options in the "Split to Volumes, Bytes" dropdown menu. Options are arranged by common storage types such as CD and DVD. The size of the volumes are based on the option you select.
- 4). Click "OK."
