- 1). Jam the edge of a paint scraper underneath the outside corner of the tile.
- 2). Pry the tile away from the wall with the paint scraper. Make sure to slide the paint scraper further underneath the tile as it lifts away to avoid breaking the tile.
- 3). Repeat with all remaining tiles. If you are not able to get the paint scraper beneath the surface of the tile, use a hammer to chisel the scraper further beneath the tile.
- 4). Apply a gel adhesive remover all over the dried tile adhesive on the wall, following the manufacturer's directions and allow it to sit for the time recommended.
- 5). Scrape away the tile adhesive using the paint scraper to remove all excess adhesive bits.
- 6). Clean the wall thoroughly using a clean rag and warm, soapy water.
