- 1). Power off both the TV and the laptop. Place the laptop in close proximity to the TV. Plug the laptop in so you are not running off the battery.
- 2). Plug the 3.5-inch mini-din plug side of the cable into the headphone jack on the laptop.
- 3). Plug the other end of the cable into the TV audio inputs (these are usually in the rear of the TV, some models include some on the front). The white shielding of the cable will plug into the white stereo plug, and red will plug into red.
- 4). Turn on the laptop and boot into the operating system. Turn on the TV and select the appropriate input.
- 5). Adjust volume up using the computer first, then add extra volume with the TV.
