- 1). Open Adobe Photoshop CS2 on your computer.
- 2). Click on the "File" menu at the top of the screen and select "Open." Choose the image file you would like to work with.
- 3). Select the portion of the image you would like to copy. Click on the desired selection tool in the toolbar on the left side of the screen, then click on the image. Drag the mouse over your image, then release the mouse button when you have selected the desired area.
- 4). Click on the "Edit" menu at the top of the screen and select "Copy." Click on the image again to remove the selection lines.
- 5). Click on the "Edit" menu again and select "Paste" to paste the selection onto the image. You can also open another image and paste the selection there.
