Mild vs. Strong Solutions

• A wide range of products, with various strengths, promise to remove calcium deposits from inside pipes. Choose the gentlest product first, especially if the calcium deposits are new or if they aren't completely blocking the plumbing pipes. Gentle solutions will not harm the pipes and they are not toxic, but they may not remove all of the calcium residue. If this is the case, follow the cleaning solution with a harsher calcium remover.
