How to Hook Up a T-Mobile G1 With a Regular SIM Card
- 1). Turn off the G1 and open the flip.
- 2). Turn the phone to landscape mode, and find the battery release clip on the left side.
- 3). Push the clip until the battery cover disengages from the back of the phone.
- 4). Turn the phone over and lift the battery out of the battery compartment.
- 5). Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot. The contacts on the card should face the phone, with the beveled corner on the bottom left. A diagram inside shows you how to insert the SIM.
- 6). Replace the battery and battery cover.
