How to Create Anime Online
- 1). Find an animation program you are knowledgeable with, or are willing to learn. A good program for creating anime is Adobe Flash. This is an animation program, but anime isn't a type of animation; it is an art style. No matter what animation program you have, how your art looks is up to you. Practice and get good with the program until you feel you are good enough to start producing your own anime.
- 2). Plug in your graphics tablet---drawing with the mouse is too sloppy; most modern-day digital artists have graphics tablets that they use to emulate pencil and paper. Launch your animation program and make your anime. It can be a short one only a few minutes long, or something much longer. You can make a movie, a series of cartoons, or just one stand-alone anime episode. Once you have finished your anime, export it into a video format such as WMV, AVI, or MPEG. All animation programs have an export feature to turn your animation into a video.
- 3). Create a YouTube account. To do this, navigate to YouTube (there is a link in the Resources section) and in the top right corner click "Create account." In the next page fill in your user name, date of birth, zip code, gender and pick your country. After that click on the button labeled "I accept." Next, fill in your email address, pick a password and type it into both the password box and the box that says "Re-enter password." Finally type in the letters that you see in the image next to the phrase "word verification" and click "Create new account and finish."
- 4). Log in to your new account if it doesn't do it for you automatically and click on the yellow button in the top right corner that says "Upload." On the next page click on "Upload video" and locate your anime. While it is uploading fill in the boxes labeled: title, description, and tags. After that, select a category for your video, and click "Share your video with the world." Finally, click "Save changes" and wait for your anime to finish uploading. When it finishes, it will take some time for your anime to be processed, but eventually your anime will be online for the world to view.
