- 1). Decide how you want to organize your plants within the garden catalog. Organize plants in a way that will allow you to reference them easily.
- 2). Choose a template for your catalog. Use an online catalog template or design your own using a word processing program.
- 3). Gather photographs of your plants and the seeds for that plant, as well as information on the plants themselves. This should include water and light requirements, growing zones and whether the plants are annual or perennial.
- 4). Use the template you chose to fill in all of the information about your plants and organize them with their pictures.
- 5). Download or print off your catalog and store it for further use.
