- 1). Register for a virtual debit card. Financial companies that offer virtual cards include Entropay and Cliffs Card. Provide your name, contact information and email address during the registration process.
- 2). Load the amount you wish to deposit on the card. You may load the money from a bank account or from a credit card. Note that some companies eliminate the option of loading the card and sell virtual debit cards in various denominations instead.
- 3). Check your email for the activation details. When the transaction is complete, the company emails your virtual card number, expiration date and the security code.
- 4). Proceed to the payee’s website to make a payment. Follow the directions to enter your account information and choose the credit card option from the list of payment types. Enter the virtual debit card number, expiration date and security code in the appropriate fields. Submit the information to complete the transaction.
