You Are Hiding the Evidence Beneath a Garage Mat

A typical garage is a very utilitarian room.
It serves a purpose and is often a "catch all" for each and every object that you feel you should keep, yet has no real purpose.
It is not really an ideal location to store anything that has value, or is sentimental, as it is not air-conditioned and subject to damage.
A garage is essentially a halfway house as we transition from the outside to the inside.
When we return from a trip to get provisions at the local store, it shelters us from the worst of the elements.
As we move from one point to the other it is easy to forget the maintenance of this room and we always put off its cleaning until tomorrow or the day after.
You have so much stuff, all your "precious" artifacts, stored in a room that should be reserved for cars.
How do you know that the dirt and mess which is typically associated with these vehicles will not ruin them? At the very least you should have a garage mat underneath your vehicles, as if you don't that floor becomes so stained that it will attract all kinds of debris from everywhere.
If you add a little water from runoff into that mix, it's easy to see how anything stored in their can be affected.
People can judge you from the way that you treat your home and a garage mat is therefore not only a form of protection to save your concrete floor.
If you take the effort to keep your garage clean it will show.
This does not have to be such a backbreaking or time-consuming job, either, if you have a garage mat or two in place.
This product will absorb anything that falls from beneath your car, hiding the evidence.
Porous concrete floors are great for absorbing stains, yet very defensive when it comes to trying to clean them up.
Unless it is specially prepared, this surface will be a magnet for oil that comes from everywhere beneath your car.
Oil also attracts dirt molecules like nothing else and this mess will grow exponentially.
If you think about it, you never look at the floor of your garage.
You run from the home, jump into the car, reverse out, close the door and off you go.
You do the same only in reverse, when you return.
You never get the chance to see those ugly and growing oil stains, which will be there unless you have a garage mat in place.
Super absorbent polypropylene is the best product for a garage mat as it will take care of almost any liquid that you can throw at it.
Use such a mat beneath all the mechanical objects in your possession, especially in areas that tend to be messy.
The back patio comes to mind, beneath the barbecue grill.
What's happening underneath that lawn mower as it sits in the corner over all those winter months? There's no point in storing your possessions if you are going to treat them badly, so why risk damage to them by a lack of preparation.
Be proud of the places you store your vehicles as well and by all means save yourself the job of trying to clean that concrete.
You won't have to bother if you have taken the effort to put a garage mat in place.
