Avoid the Battle of the Bulge This Christmas Season

A lot of people are dreading the Christmas season not so much because of all the presents that they have to get but because they know they are going to gain all of the pounds that took them a whole year to get rid of.
How to avoid the weight gain during the holidays is something which a lot of people are having a fine and difficult time going about.
Well, it all starts out with the Halloween, and not the Thanksgiving as most think.
Halloween is a time that everyone enjoys, unfortunately, all those sweets that need to be prepared as treats are already a temptation hard to resist.
Fast forward to the New Year's celebrations and gaining ten or twenty pounds is not uncommon.
Well, the thing that you need to do is to have the determination not to overindulge.
Of course you would not want to say no to all those goodies, but it is a good idea to know when to stop.
If you are having a hard time saying "no" to the foods, then eat them, but within certain limits only.
Do not overindulge.
The next few days after the indulging you can do some serious workout and eat more vegetables rather than meats and drink more water.
This will be a natural flushing of the system and will fast rid the body of the high cholesterol foods that are always served during the holidays.
Now, don't get the idea of taking some fat burner pills or carb blockers, simply eat more vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water.
Whatever bad was ingested would be flushed out of the system and the next time there is a party or a get together and rich food cannot be avoided, your body will be more resistant to the temptations.
The only way to avoid all those excess pounds from settling of the hips is to flush them out.
But, there is absolutely no way that you can avoid the eating, if you do, you not only get upset, but your hosts will too.
So enjoy within reason, and then flush them out the next day.
Naturally.
