- 1). Wipe the marble surface using a damp mop or sponge, which in most cases will be all that is required to clean the marble effectively.
- 2). Pour a gallon of warm water in to a cleaning bucket, along with a cup of white vinegar. The vinegar will both clean and disinfect the marble surface without causing damage.
- 3). Add two teaspoons of liquid dish detergent to the bucket as well, which will act as an added cleaning agent, plus break up residue and film with ease.
- 4). Dip a mop or sponge in the cleaning solution, then wring out all excess water until the mop or sponge is damp, not soaking wet.
- 5). Wipe the mop or sponge over the red marble, cleaning until you are satisfied with the end result.
- 6). Let the surfaces air dry, or wipe clean with a dry mop or sponge to collect excess moisture.
