A friend of a friend had terminal cancer and Kathy Cook's husband found out that this kitten needed a home. Although Kathy had always played with the kittens at the pet store, she was somewhat reluctant, but finally acquiesced, and her hubby came home with Princess. Although it wasn't exactly love at first sight for either of them, it didn't take long for them to warm up to each other and now Kathy considers Princess a "Keeper."
