How Do I Download MP3s & Videos Onto My BlackBerry?

    Downloading Music to Your BlackBerry

    • 1). Insert the USB sync cable into the left slot on the phone. Insert the other end of the USB cable into an open USB port on your computer. Wiggle the cable ends on both sides with your fingers to make sure they are firmly in the ports.

    • 2). Open the BlackBerry Media Sync application on your computer. You should have installed the BlackBerry Media Sync application when you first set-up your phone. If not, download and install the program at us.blackberry.com. Follow the program's installation instructions.

    • 3). Click the "Music" tab in the main menu of the program. Click the drop-down menu and choose either iTunes or Windows Media Player. This opens a new window showing either your iTunes music library or Windows Media Player library. Select the MP3 tracks you want to download in the list.

    • 4). Click the "Sync Music" button, and then click "OK." The files will begin downloading to your phone. The application will notify you when the sync has completed.

    Downloading Videos to Your BlackBerry

    • 1). Open the BlackBerry Media Sync program. Wait for the application to load.

    • 2). Click the "Videos" tab in the main menu. Select the "Computer Videos" tab.

    • 3). Navigate the browser window to find the folder containing the video you want to download. Select the video and then click "Sync Video." Click the "OK" button to confirm the synchronization. The video will begin downloading to your BlackBerry.
