How to Identify Defective Tile
- 1). Clear the area around the tile.
- 2). Clean the area of the tiles on your floor. Use a rag or mop soaked with clean, warm water and soap and scrub the tile. Allow the tile to dry completely.
- 3). Look at the tile one at a time. Look for chips, cracks, discoloration, unevenness and tiles that are not secured.
