How to Remove Contact Folders From the Navigation Pane in Office 2007

- 1). Open Outlook and select the "Contacts" folder in the "Navigation Pane." Near the bottom of the "Navigation Pane," select the "Configure Buttons" arrow. Select "Show More Buttons" or "Show Fewer Buttons" until the Contact Folder is minimized into the bottom of the Navigation Pane.
- 2). Select the "Configure Buttons" arrow and select "Navigation Pane Options." The "Navigation Pane Options" dialog box appears. Remove the Contacts Folder by removing the check from the "Contacts" folder. Click "OK" when you have done this. The Contacts folder will no longer appear in the list of components in the Navigation Pane.
- 3). Select the "Configure Buttons" arrow and select "Add or Remove Buttons." The list of available Outlook components appears. Select the "Contacts" button. The Contacts folder will disappear from the list of available components.
