How to Record Phone Calls to a Hard Drive Automatically
- 1). Unplug the phone line from the phone jack.
- 2). Plug the phone line splitter into the phone jack. Plug the handset's phone line into one side of the splitter and plug a separate phone line into the other side.
- 3). Plug the free cable into the phone jack on the back of the voice capable modem. Plug the modem's AC adapter into a power outlet.
- 4). Open the call recording program on the computer.
- 5). Follow the onscreen instructions to set up the program. It will automatically detect the modem you are using.
- 6). Click the "Options" tab and select the "Configuration" option.
- 7). Click the "Advanced" tab in the "Configuration" window and place a check mark by the "Record Incoming Calls Automatically" option. Any phone calls made on the phone line will now be automatically recorded and saved to the hard drive.
