The Angel AG 5500 is essentially the base model of the Angel line-up.
Base model sounds like limited features, but every juicer in the Angel range is built to the same high specifications.
The AG 5500 teachers a large chute for ingredients, solid stainless steel construction, patented three stage crushing mechanism (this results in very dry pulp) and a fan called motor which is very quiet.
The 5500 features a 3 hp motor, which is more than adequate for processing any type ingredients for long periods.
The Angel AG 7500 is very similar to the 5500, but incorporates some additional safety features.
While the 5500 will automatically stop if it senses excessive congestion inside the juicer (this is to protect the motor and mechanism from damage) 7500 will sense an obstruction, stop the machine, and then cycle the motor between short bursts of forward and reverse directions in order to automatically clear the obstruction.
Both models have maintained the versatility for which the Angel line has become famous, and can still be used to process many kinds of foods, including making your own past, sauces, dips and baby foods.
