How to View Amipro Files
- 1). Download "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint File Formats," which contains "FileFormatConverters.exe" from Microsoft's download center site.
- 2). Click the orange "Download" button on the right side of the screen to initiate the "FileFormatConverters.exe" download.
- 3). Double-click "FileFormatConverters.exe" when it completes, it should automatically save to your computer's desktop, and follow the simple installation prompts.
- 4). Open a blank MS Word file and click on the "Tools" menu found on the top, center of the MS Word window and click on "Options."
- 5). Click on the "General" tab in the options window and click on the "Confirm conversion on open" check box. Click "OK" to save the settings and exit the options menu.
- 6). Click the File menu found in the top left corner of the MS Word window and click on "Open." Click on the "File of Type" drop arrow and select "Ami Pro 3.0 (*.sam)" from the list.
- 7). Type the file name in the "File Name" box or browse for the file in the upper portion "File Open" window and click the "Open" button.
- 8). Click the drop arrow in the "Covert File" dialogue box that appears after clicking the "Open" button and choose "Ami Pro 3.0" and click the "OK" button.
