How do I Block Single Internet Sites?

    • 1). Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.

    • 2). Click on "Tools" in the menu bar along the top of the screen, and then select "Internet Options," the very last option that appears in the pop-up menu.

    • 3). Click on the "Content" tab along the top of the Internet Options box and click on "Enable" under the Content section. (If this option has been previously enabled, you may be required to enter the password previously created before completing the following steps.)

    • 4). Click on the "Approved Sites" tab when the Content Advisor box appears.

    • 5). Enter the complete address of the website you'd like to block into the topmost data entry box, titled "Allow this." Once that's completed, click on the "Never" button on the right-hand side to permanently block the site, then click on "OK" at the bottom of the dialog window.

    • 6). Create a password with which you will manage this setting and enter the password in both the "Password" and "Confirm" entry spaces. Beneath that, enter a reminder that will help you to remember your new password in the box labeled, "Provide a hint..." (If this feature has been previously enabled on your computer, you won't need to create a new password at this time.) Finally, click on "OK" at the bottom of this window to complete your password entry.

    • 7). Click on the "OK" button when the Content Advisor displays a message window telling you that the blocking feature has been enabled. Then click on "OK" at the bottom of the Internet Options window to close it.
