Interactions between Parnate oral and maois-linezolid

Both of these medicines inhibit monoamine oxidase.
You may experience extremely high blood pressure, which may be fatal. Symptoms may include: frequent/severe headache, fast/slow/irregular/pounding heartbeat, chest pain, neck stiffness/soreness, severe nausea/vomiting, sweating/clammy skin (sometimes with fever), widened pupils, sudden sensitivity to light (photophobia).
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know right away that you are taking these medicines together. Let your doctor know right away if you experience frequent/severe headache, fast/slow/irregular/pounding heartbeat, chest pain, neck stiffness/soreness, severe nausea/vomiting, sweating/clammy skin (sometimes with fever), widened pupils, sudden sensitivity to light (photophobia).Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
