Which Walt Disney World Attraction is Your Favorite
When you are planning your Disney Vacation, are you also thinking about which ride you will jump on first? Whether it is Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom or The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you are sure to be thrilled no matter which ride you choose! My family will usually discuss what we will ride first during our 500 mile ride to Walt Disney World.
It is fun conversation and it builds anticipation! I have many favorite rides but if I had to pick one, I would probably choose The Great Movie Ride.
This is a relaxing ride, out of the sun, that takes you through a brief history of the movies.
You'll see two of my favorite actors John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.
My son is a huge Star Wars fan so it goes without saying that his favorite ride is Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I have never ridden this ride but I will go through the entrance line.
I enjoy the props and atmosphere on the way to the ride.
This is one thing the Walt Disney theme parks have perfected.
Unless you visit a Disney theme park during the off season, you will probably wait in line for every ride; however, these waits can be almost as fun as the ride itself.
All of the queue lines are rather long and the Disney imagineers have lots of opportunity to decorate the waiting line with props.
So a long wait doesn't mean it's going to be a boring wait.
My daughter's favorite attraction isn't a ride.
She enjoys visiting with Princess Ariel at Ariel's Grotto.
My daughter could wait in line 2 hours, three times a day to see Ariel and not complain once.
She also enjoys Space Mountain at Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Space Mountain has an awesome queue line.
My wife really enjoys SOARIN' at EPCOT.
I must admit this is a really neat attraction.
We seem to always have a hard time getting to ride SOARIN'.
Either the wait time is like 120 minutes or the Fastpasses are exhausted for the day.
I know what I said earlier about the queue lines, but I usually cut it off after 60 minutes.
I don't believe 120 minutes is typical; my family and I never wait more than 60 minutes for a ride - it is usually much less than this.
A Fastpass is a ticket you get by inserting your Disney World ticket into a machine near the entrance to the attraction.
The Fastpass machine will give you a ticket with a return time.
You simply return during that return time and get on the ride faster than if you had to wait in the normal queue line.
Whatever attraction you favor most, if you are like my family, you will enjoy all the rides.
