How to Use an Airsoft Tank
- 1). Load the batteries in your remote control and your Airsoft tank. The remote control takes eight AA batteries, while the tank takes a 7.2 volt Ni-Cd battery. The location for these two devices are the back and the underside, respectively. Turn the switch on the remote "on" first, then turn the tank "on."
- 2). Familiarize yourself with the remote control. There are two circles on the left and right sides with a lever that moves 360 degrees. The right-hand side controls your tank's directional movement, while the left-hand side controls the turret and gun control.
- 3). Practice moving your tank with the right-hand side controls. Pushing the lever up moves the tank forward, while pushing it straight back moves the tank backwards. If you push the lever into the 1 o'clock position, your tank would make a right turn and if you pushed it into the 11 o'clock position, your tank would make a left turn. To make backwards left and right turns, push your lever in the 8 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions, respectively.
- 4). Press the "G" button at the bottom of your remote control to simulate a shooting sound and press the "K" button to simulate a cannonball sound.
- 5). Push the right control stick to the 3 o'clock position to perform a "super right spin," and push the stick to the 9 o'clock position to perform a "super left spin." These super spins are when the two caterpillars move in opposite directions, making the turn possible.
- 6). Use the left control lever to control the turret and the gun on your tank. Press the lever to the 9 o'clock position to turn the turret to the left and press it to the 3 o'clock position to turn it to the right. Pressing the lever either 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock brings the gun up or down, respectively. You can also shoot BBs from the gun by pressing "BB SHOOT" button on your joystick.
