How to Open a Garmin Case
- 1). With the hex screwdriver, remove the two hex screws from the rear of the unit. They are located on the bottom of the GPS.
- 2). Insert your flat-head screwdriver into the groove between the front and back of the GPS case.
- 3). Pry apart the front and back of the case by gently using the flat-head screwdriver to work around the entire unit while prying the case in two. The GPS is now open. To close the GPS, continue with the following steps.
- 4). Snap the front and back of the case back together again.
- 5). Reinsert the two hex screws into the rear of the unit and tighten them.
