The ever amazing and powerful Toshi Reagon followed Christine Martucci to keep the show moving. Reagon won the special Heritage Award and dedicated it to, among others, her mother Bernice Johnson Reagon of Sweet Honey in the Rock. Reagon is soon releasing a new CD, UNTIL WE’RE DONE – a Celebration of Love, Lust and Rock-Roll. Reagon has a slew of 25th anniversary concerts planned for late January 2010 in New York City.

She’ll also be touring next year with her band Big Lovely. And, We become, the music and text written by Reagon for new work by LAVA is out now.
