How to Find a Job for a Fifteen Year Old
- 1). Suggest that she begin a business on her own. Many 15-year-olds can start their own businesses. Think about what she likes to do and can do well. If she has always assisted you with mowing the lawn, she could start a lawn care business. If she likes to work with children and wants to enter the teaching profession, explore the world of baby sitting.
- 2). Research local businesses. Many businesses are open to hiring part-time teenage labor. Businesses welcome candidates who are well-prepared and willing to work on weekends and holidays. Emphasize your 15-year-old's understanding of current pop culture and trends. Stores that hire teenagers include fast food restaurants, supermarkets, movie theaters and clothing retailers.
