How to Tether a PS3 With a Laptop

- 1). Click "Start."
- 2). Open "Control Panel."
- 3). Chose "Network and Sharing Center."
- 4). Select "Set up a New Connection."
- 5). Click once on "Set up a wireless ad hoc" and choose the "Next" option. Read through the description of exactly what an ad hoc network is and click "Next." Type a name for your ad hoc network into the box on screen. Leave the "Password" portion blank. Click "Finish."
- 1). Select "Settings" from the menu.
- 2). Choose "Network Settings."
- 3). Select "Internet Connection Settings."
- 4). Select the "Easy" option.
- 5). Chose "Wireless." From the menu that appears, choose "Scan." Highlight the name for your laptop's ad hoc network and select "OK." Select the "Save" option to finish tethering your laptop computer to your PlayStation 3.
