CF/X Photo Mosaic

• 1). Launch your Web browser, navigate to the CF/X website, download the CF/X Photo Mosaic application and install it on your iMac. Launch the CF/X Photo Mosaic application.
  
  
• 2). Click the “Master Image and Mosaic Control” tab. Drag the image you want to make into a photo mosaic from a folder on your iMac into the application window.
  
  
• 3). Click “Please Choose Tile Source.” A dialog box appears. Click the folder on your iMac containing the images you want to use to make the mosaic, and then click “Choose.”
  
  
• 4). Click the “Preset” pull-down menu and click a preset name, such as “Artful Standard” or “Stark and Regular.” Click the “Output Quality” pull-down menu, and then click an export quality, such as “Standard” or “Better.”
  
  
• 5). Click the “Go” button to generate your photo mosaic poster.
  
  

Mazaika

• 1). Go to the Mazaika website, download the Mazaika application and install it on your iMac.
  
  
• 2). Launch the Mazaika application.
  
  
• 3). Click the “Source” tab. Click “Open Lib.” A dialog box appears. Click the folder on your iMac containing the images you want to use to build a photo mosaic, and then click “Open.” Click “Make Library.”
  
  
• 4). Click the “Mosaic” tab. Click “Source,” and then click “Open Source.” A dialog box appears. Click the folder on your iMac containing the image you want to turn into a photo mosaic, click the photo to select it and then click “Open.” Click “Apply.”
  
  
• 5). Click the “Render” button to generate your photo mosaic.
  
  

MacOSaiX

• 1). Start your Web browser, go to the MacOSaiX website, download the MacOSaiX application and install it on your iMac.
  
  
• 2). Launch the MacOSaiX application. A dialog box appears. Click the folder on your iMac containing the image you want to turn into a mosaic, click the photo to select it and then click “Open.”
  
  
• 3). Click “Image Sources,” then click the “Add New Source” pull-down menu and then click a folder on your iMac containing the images you want to use to create the photo mosaic. Click “Open.”
  
  
• 4). Click “Save.” The MacOSaiX application generates a photo mosaic.
