How to Connect a Sony HDX678WF DVD Home Theater System to a Panasonic TV
- 1). Turn off the Sony receiver and the Panasonic TV.
- 2). Push the plug on one end of the HDMI cable into the port on the rear of the Sony receiver labeled "HDMI." The plug must be turned so the shortest of the two long edges faces down.
- 3). Connect the other end of the cable to one of the matching ports on the Panasonic TV.
- 4). Turn on the Sony receiver and the TV, then push the "Source" button on the Panasonic remote control over and over until it connects with the HDMI jack used to hook up with the Sony. For example, press the button twice to access "HDMI 2" if the cable is connected to the HDMI 2 jack on the Panasonic TV.
