Overnight Pool Cover

For pools that are small enough you can use an overnight pool cover to prevent debris from entering the pool when you are not using it.
These pool covers are perfect for any time you are not using the pool even if it is during the day.
There are two options when it comes to overnight pool covers.
Your first option will be a manual cover.
For these covers you will need to manually pin down the pool cover every time you are not using it and then take the cover off when you decide to use it.
This can be a bit of a pain, but is much better than having to vacuum the pool every day.
Your second option is going to be an automatic cover.
These can either be a hand crank or run off a motor.
A hand crank is a little bit better than the purely manual cover, but can still be a bit of a pain.
However, if you get the motorized cover then all you have to do is press a button.
Just keep in mind that a manual cover will be the least expensive, a crank will be moderately expensive, and an automatic can be incredibly expensive costing $1000 or more.
The benefits to using an overnight cover are huge including vacuuming less often, using less chemicals, and keeping your pool at a more standard temperature.
It can also help keep a balance pH level and keep your calcium hardness at a more balanced level as well.
Another benefit is that you will use less chlorine if the pool cover stays over the pool during the day.
Many people choose not to use al cover during the nighttime if their pool is too large.
However, there are products out there that will work for large pools especially the automatic cover.
So keep in mind that it might be worth a look even if it does not appear to be something you are interested in on the surface.
