How do I Convert Video MP4 Files to FLV Format?
- 1). Download SUPER (see Resources). Double-click the downloaded installer to install the program. Click "Start," then "All Programs," and then click "SUPER" after the setup is complete to launch the program.
- 2). Click the "Select the Output Container" drop-down menu and select "FLV" from the list. Select "MEncoder" from the encoders list (MEncoder is generally better at encoding FLV than FFmpeg).
- 3). Locate your mp4 file for conversion on your computer.
- 4). Drag and drop the file into SUPER's queue list, then click "Encode (Active Files)" to begin the conversion process.
- 1). Download AutoMen (see Resources). Right-click the downloaded archive and click "Extract To Folder."
- 2). Double-click the extracted folder, then double-click "AutoMen_beta" to launch the application.
- 3). Click "Open" and locate your mp4 file for conversion, select it and click "Open." Click "Save" and designate a folder for your converted FLV to be stored. Click "Save."
- 4). Click the "Encode with" drop-down menus and set both to "FLV."
- 5). Click "Encode" to begin encoding your FLV file.
- 1). Download Avanti and FFmpeg (see Resources). Double-click the FFmpeg download to extract, then double-click the Avanti download to begin setup. During the Avanti setup you will have to link to the extracted FFMPEG folders.
- 2). Double-click the Avanti icon to launch the program, then click the folder icon next to "Source 1."
- 3). Locate your MP4 file for conversion, select it and click "Open." Click the "Destination" folder icon and choose a folder for your converted file to be stored.
- 4). Click the "Codec" drop-down menu and select "FLV" from the list.
- 5). Click "Convert" to begin conversion of your MP4 to FLV.
