How to Troubleshoot an Adobe Updater
- 1). Make sure your computer is actually connected to the Internet. Adobe Updater requires an active Internet connection to download and install updates. If not connected, the Updater cannot check for new software.
- 2). Restart your computer. After you install Adobe software, you'll need to restart your computer to finalize the installation process. Until you restart your computer, certain Adobe products may not function correctly--including the Updater software.
- 3). Download the Adobe product updates (see Resources). If Adobe Updater cannot properly download and install an update, go to the Adobe Update website and manually download and install the file. This will not only update your Adobe product but also automatically install any updates for the Adobe Updater software.
