Video: How to Braid Medium Hair
Video Transcript
Hello, my name is Michelle Brione, I'm a freelance hair and makeup artist for TV, film and print, special events and a beauty expert. And we're at the fabulous Bridget Salon in Woodland Hills, California. And today, I'm going to show you how to braid medium hair. So, what you want to so, is you kind of just want to have all the hair neatly brushed back. And we're going to start in the nape area. You want to divide the hair in three sections, o.k., it doesn't really necessarily matter where you start braiding. But what you want to do is just pull the right side over to the middle section. and bring the left section over and pull it into the middle section. So, you want to continue this process all the way down. You could do it loosely, you could do it tightly, it all depends upon what you're looking to do, as far as braided style. Bring that all the way down, braid in and out and it's just kind of like you're weaving. o.k., so, I'm going to bring it to there exactly. And I'm just going to go ahead and secure the braid. Go ahead and wrap the rubber band as necessary, if you want to add the extra tightness. And here we have just a very, a very nice braid. And as you can see, this is what I've done, and it's just to pull the hair back and have the hair braided nicely. So, this is one way of accomplishing medium length hair and have it braided. Once again, my name is Michelle Brione, thank you so much for watching and have a great day.
