Pictured on this page is a second, but more closeup, look at the three short diagonal line test. The three lines are vibrating up and down on one side of the circle. The amount of smoothness or jaggedness determines one aspect of the quality of the video processing of the DVD player is.
In order to pass this test, at least the top two of lines need to be free of jaggedness.

As you can see, all three diagonal lines are jagged.

This result is considered below average and the Epson 700 does not pass this test.
