How to File Complaints Against the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Police Department

    Prepare Your Complaint

    • 1). Write down the date, time and location of the incident.

    • 2). Make a list of the events as they happened. This will help ensure you don't forget important details when you file your complaint.

    • 3). Make a list of any evidence -- pictures, videos, witness names, security cameras and other pertinent information.

    File Your Complaint

    • 1). Go to any Milwaukee Police Department district station and ask to speak to a supervisor.

    • 2). Call the Professional Performance Division (414-935-7942).
