- 1). Place the left and right stereo speakers on each side of the Pavilion monitor on the desktop. The speakers are typically labeled L and R on the back of each unit.
- 2). Connect the left speaker cord to the Output jack on the back of the right speaker by pushing the 3.5mm mini-plug into the jack until it clicks.
- 3). Connect the cord from the right speaker to the green Line OUT jack on the back of the Pavilion tower. The jack is on the lower left corner of the back panel.
- 4). Insert the round plug on the end of the DC power cord that came with the speakers into the electrical jack on the back of the right speaker. Connect the other end to a wall electrical outlet.
- 5). Press the "Power" button on the speakers or turn the on/off knob clockwise, depending on the speaker model.
