How to Block Instant Messenger
- 1). Navigate to the link located in "Resources" (it is located on the bottom page of this article). The link leads to a download of TerminatorX v2. The program allows you to block a wide variety of different Web programs, such as instant messengers.
- 2). Click "Download a Free Trial." Wait for the download to complete and launch the TerminatorX v2 installation file. It can be found on the desktop or in a "Downloads" pop-up window. Accept the license agreement and follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
- 3). Launch the TerminatorX v2 program.
- 4). Click the "Messengers" tab on the left side of the screen. This opens a list of the most popular instant messengers on the Web. Click "OK" and the instant messengers are not blocked from access.
