Cars To Look Out For In 2013
The change witnessed by the Indian automobile market over the last ten years is remarkable. From being a niche and barely noticed market in the 90's it has transformed into a large market with tons of potential. Back then there were just about a handful of cars which one could choose from. However, that's all history now, all the large international car manufacturers like Toyota, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Honda, Renault and Nissan have entered the Indian market with the aim to grab a fair share of the market and give the local car manufacturers a run for their money. Back in the 90's the popular car companies were Maruti Suzuki, Tata motors and Daewoo motors had a few models available. There were just about more then one car in each segment, now, there are segments within the main segments of sedans, SUV's and hatchbacks.
Cars are launched at a rapid pace, with car companies launching cars into the market one after the other to battle their rivals. International companies like Toyota and Volkswagen have started making cars specifically for the Indian market, which revolve around the taste and preferences of the Indian consumer. Every once in a while we see a massive front page ad featuring a new car that's been or being launched in the market. It's difficult to even keep track of the available cars considering the large number of car manufacturers in the Indian market. To add to this even premium luxury car manufacturers like Aston Martin, Land Rover, Lamborghini, BMW and Audi have come to India and opened up their showrooms in the major metropolitan cities.
It's a completely different scenario as compared to what it was a decade ago. Let's take a look at some of the upcoming cars in India to look forward to in 2013. 2012 saw the launch of several cars and the New Year is going to be no different.
