How to Connect a Samsung LCD to a Samsung Home Theater
- 1). Turn off the Samsung LCD TV and the home theater receiver to avoid a power surge when connecting the HDMI cable.
- 2). Turn one end of the HDMI cable so the shorter edge of the plug points downward and push it straight into the HDMI OUT port on the rear of the Samsung receiver that is part of the home theater system.
- 3). Connect the plug on the opposite end of the HDMI cable to one of the HDMI inputs on the back connection panel of the Samsung LCD television.
- 4). Turn on the Samsung receiver and TV.
- 5). Press the remote control "Source" button for the LCD set until the image from the Samsung receiver appears on the television.
