Something Is Wrong, I Can Feel It
We have all heard the words women's intuition, but are these just words or are they valid? Can women feel when something is wrong? It's not just women either though, as often men will get those same feelings but perhaps don't dwell on them.
It can be a most unsettling feeling, when you have this feeling of dread.
It disturbs your concentration, you don't feel happy, and you have this impression of pending gloom and doom.
So what can you do about it? Some people have this feeling loom over them for days and it really disrupts their life.
Now there are some psychological conditions that create these same feelings, but the ones I am referring here to are those based on instincts.
Perhaps the best way to deal with this type of unsettled realm is to try and decipher it.
Sometimes it could have been triggered by something someone close to you has said, or based on an opinion that you haven't given much thought to.
Start by going over the recent past to see if there is an issue that you have not dealt with.
Perhaps one of your grown kids is planning on moving to another country.
On the surface you are happy for them, but as a Mother you may have fears of them being so far away from you.
Lets face it, once a Mother always a Mother.
It doesn't matter how grown up your kids are, your instincts as their Mom don't disappear.
You need to determine what is troubling you, and you can only do this by retracing your thoughts.
It could be that you husband hasn't been looking well or is unusually tired.
You have made a mental note of this, but with the fast pace of living we are involved in, that thought has been filed away as a future concern.
It could be the nagging thought that you are not dealing with that is causing you to feel something is wrong.
This is why it is so important to take time out for thought processing.
Stress as we all know is a killer, and it gets out of hand because we are not able to deal with the stress in our life by facing it and dealing with it.
The looming feeling of something is wrong could very well be as a result of the same circumstance.
The one thing you shouldn't do is just ignore this thought.
You may find that once you can identify the potential source of it, and put your fears to rest, that this feeling of doom and gloom will disappear.
It is not healthy to be living in the anticipation that something bad is going to happen.
Which means that you have just resolved yourself to expecting a bad circumstance.
This creates fear and there is nothing to fear but fear itself.
