Batman Theme Party Ideas

    Batman Themed Food

    • Look for officially licensed Batman cake pans in the shape of either the character, the bat signal or the Batmobile. Pour in your favorite cake mix or cake recipe and bake as directed. Decorate the cake with yellow, black, blue and white frosting. Make the birthday boy or girl's favorite dishes and give each one a Batman name. Citrus or lime flavored punch becomes Poison Ivy punch, named after the villain from the comic book series. Serve blue raspberry punch and name it after the spin-off character Nightwing. Make your own bat shaped sugar cookies or use traditional circle sugar cookies and draw on the bat shape, with a piping bag.

    Batman Party Games

    • Craft your own pin the tail on game, using a Batman shape or cutout. Blindfold the players and let them take turns, trying to pin the symbol on the center of Batman's chest. For an extra treat, offer a Batman pinata, filled with candy and other small treats. Let the kids play a Batman relay race, by finding several Batman costumes. Divide the kids into teams and arrange the costumes at one end of the room. The first player from each team, runs to the other side, puts on the costume and runs back to the starting line. They grab the next player, go back and the costumed player removes the costume and passes it to the next player. The first team to get the last player over the line and dressed in the costume, is the winner.

    Add Batman Decorations

    • Decorate the front door with black crepe paper, creating a cave shape and hang a sign, informing party guests that the Bat-Cave is only steps away. Black and white or black and blue streamers and balloons hung inside the party, work with the Batman color scheme. Use Batman toys and action figures, to decorate your food and gift tables. Arrange the characters around the edges of the table or put several in the middle of the table and use as the centerpiece. A Batman cardboard cutout serves as both a decoration for the party and an activity. Let party guests take turns posing next to the figure and take their pictures. Send the pictures to each guest after the party, as a thank you for attending.
