Railay Beach

Beauty at its best, the Railay Beach is located on the peninsula that is surrounded by warm blue water of the Andaman Sea. Although located on the mainland, Railay Beach, also called Rai Leh Beach, is separated is isolated and can be accessed by only a boat from Ao Nang or Krabi. The calm and serenity on this beach is unsurpassed - there are no vehicles allowed in the beach town. The beach is crowded during the peak season, thanks to its exceptional beauty, but still you can find a slice of beautiful sand away from the crowd and while the day away.

Patong Beach

This one is the largest beach on the island of Phuket and also the most popular in Thailand. Hua Hin Beach

This fascinating beach in the resort city of Hua Hin is surrounded by the Gulf of Siam. And while it may not seem like much at first, the beach is a stunning stretch of powder-white sand beaches and calm waters of turquoise sea. The sand is dotted with round and smooth boulders that give the beach its charming appeal. It is conveniently located just a few hours' drive from the capital, Bangkok, which makes it a popular beach getaway amongst locals as well. This is your tropical paradise to lie down on a beach towel, slather on sunscreen and do nothing.

Maya Bay

Located in the picturesque Koh Phi Phi, Maya bay is a relatively smaller stretch of sand and is one of the few places that can be defined as quintessential Thailand. This delightful beach is marked by the limestone cliffs that create a stunning scenery, probably the best beachside views in all of Thailand. And what makes this beach even more impressive is the unavailability of accommodation - you have to come here for day trips only. This resplendent beach shot to international fame when it became the prime location for the Leonardo diCaprio starrer The Beach, released in 2000.

Chaweng Beach

Adorning the east coast of the fetching Koh Samui, Chaweng beach is renowned for its pristine 6 kilometre long stretch of white sand that comes to life with an exceptional nightlife towards the northern end of the beach. Numerous bars and restaurants sprinkled on this beach cater to a variety of tourists from across the globe. And when the sun is up, you can bask in its glory lying on the beach or participating in water sports adventure on the azure waters.

Kata Beach

An escape from the crowds of the bustling Patong beach, the Kata beach, with two divisions - kata Yai and Kata Noi, in Phuket is a heaven for couples. Due to its quiet surroundings and laid-back charm, it has become a favourite place for those planning a honeymoon in Thailand. Both the beaches are just a 10 minute walk away from each other. Swaying palm trees on the white sand beaches add to the gorgeous scenery. Although it is a round the year destination, the waves around the beach can be really intense during low season.

Phra Nang Beach

Noted among the most spectacular beaches of the world, Phra Nang Beach is a delight for beach lovers. Located just about 20 minutes away from Ao Nang on a longtail boat, the awe-inspiring scenic views of the beach leaves you in complete awe. And besides basking in the sun all day, you can go swimming as the waters are very nice and warm. On the beach, there is a popular attraction - Tham Phra Nang Nok, translates to Princess Cave, which is believed by the locals to be the abode of a mythical sea princess. Besides, there is an inner Princess Cave as well, which was discovered quite recently and is now amongst the very best that Thailand has to offer.
