How to Find Someone's IP From MSN
- 1). Go to MSN's website, and sign in to your MSN Messenger account. If you have not already signed up, doing so is easy with your Windows Live ID and password. Follow the instructions provided on MSN's website.
- 2). Find the "Start" button, which is located in the bottom left corner of your computer screen.
- 3). Click on the "Run" tab, which appears as part of the Start menu. A command box will appear.
- 4). Click your mouse pointer inside the command box. Type "Command" inside.
- 5). Send an instant message through the Messenger software to the person whose IP address you want to check.
- 6). Type "Netstat" inside the command box. Check the spelling before clicking on the "OK" button.
- 7). Find the person's IP address inside the box after the MSN port number "1863."
