The Audi A6 is the German automaker's entry into the premium mid-size sedan market. The A6 was originally introduced as a 1995 model, replacing the outgoing Audi 100 sedan. The A6 underwent a full redesign for the 1998 model year, with its second generation lasting through the 2004 model year.
