How to Install an Andersen Mosquito Screen
- 1). Fit the bug seal onto the top of the screen frame, keeping the lock latches and the bug seal pile flaps facing toward you. The bug seal comes with the screen and provides a tight barrier to prevent bugs from entering through the seam between the top of the screen and the window.
- 2). Close the latches on one side of the screen frame.
- 3). Open the window in which you wish to install the insect screen.
- 4). Move screen at an angle through the window opening with the bug seal facing upward.
- 5). Fit the exposed tabs of the closed lock latches into the channel on the window frame. Move the screen forward, using the pull tab on the bottom of the screen frame, until it fits into the window opening.
- 6). Close the remaining lock latches and slide the screen frame down until it touches the window sill.
