Tom Welling Signs on to "The Fog" Remake
Popular "Smallville" star Tom Welling has agreed to star in "The Fog," a remake of the classic John Carpenter horror movie. Maggie Grace ("Lost") has also come onboard the horror flick remake.
Rupert Wainwright ("Stigmata") will direct the film with Cooper Layne writing the script. Production is scheduled to begin in March 2005.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Welling will play a local boat owner and Grace will star as a college student back in town for the summer holidays.
