How to Use a Canon Camera
- 1). Holding a Canon digital single-lens reflex camera in your hand, turn the camera upside town and open the battery compartment located in the camera's molded grip and insert a freshly charged battery.
- 2). Open the memory compartment door located on the right hand side of the camera and install an empty memory card.
- 3). Turn the camera on and rotate the Exposure Mode Dial, located on the top of the camera, to any of the settings for program, manual or scene-shooting modes.
- 4). Hold the camera to your eye, compose, and take the picture.
- 5). Press the button on the back of the camera that has a green sideways triangle on it. This button displays the image you just took.
- 6). Magnify the image by pressing the button that has a blue icon of a magnifying glass and a plus symbol. Use the "Thumb toggle" button located on the back of the camera just above the "Quick Command Wheel" to move the image around in the LCD screen on the rear of the camera.
- 7). Slightly press the shutter release to return the camera to its shooting mode. You are now ready to continue taking pictures with the camera.
