How to Remove Black Lines on Your Skin From Band-Aids or Tape

    • 1). Remove the adhesive bandage or tape from the skin. If the adhesive from the bandage is stubbornly stuck to the skin, press the adhesive tape remover pad over the bandage to saturate it before removing it. The adhesive tape remover contains ingredients that dissolve the adhesive gently.

    • 2). Wipe the skin with the adhesive tape remover after removing the bandage. Rub the remover pad firmly over your skin to remove residue. Pass it back and forth repeatedly until no black lines remain on your skin.

    • 3). Wash the skin with a mild soap to remove any remaining ingredients from your skin. Dry the skin carefully with a clean towel.
