Organic Natural Body Care Product - How to Ensure it is Truly Organic

Since the negative impact on chemical base body care product is being exposed and make known to the consumers, most badly affected body care product producers have resorted to include "Organic" in their labels in order to survive in this beauty and body care industry.
Struggling to salvage their share in the market, it has lead to the use of "Organic" being exploited to the fullest.
Deceiving the consumers by not disclosing the actual ingredients used, and never make known to the public, the chemicals involvement in the process of preparation of these natural ingredients.
On top of that, due to the lax regulation, many body care products have the word "Organic" in their brand name or otherwise on their product label, but unless they are USDA certified, the main cleansing ingredients in particular are usually made with conventional not agricultural material, combined with petrochemical compounds.
The survey conducted has also shown consumers are willing to pay extra for organic natural body care product; meaning higher profit margin for these manufacturers.
The actual quality of the products will normally be compromised due to dishonest management, pressure from shareholders to cut corners and improve profitability, poor manufacturing processes and the use of substandard raw ingredients.
There are simply plenty of contributing factors that lead to the misuse and misbrand of "Organic", but that does not mean we should continue to be fooled by them.
In my opinion, an organic natural body care product should use only natural organic plant based substances as their ingredients, prepare or extract these ingredients without involving any chemical, and ethically complete the whole process in compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA (Food & Drug Administration).
Starting with raw materials, there could be enormous difference in efficacy and potency of the ingredients even supplied by the same manufacturer, just as there can be an enormous difference in price.
Normally suppliers will have Certificates of Analysis for their products, but an independent laboratory testing to crosscheck the conformation of these ingredients will show the commitment of a good body care products manufacturer.
Then come to processing or manufacturing of the ingredients until completion of end products.
It will be pointless to use organic ingredients, but contamination occur during the storage , processing and production.
The whole chronicle of handling the ingredients till finished product will be safely secured to avoid any possible contamination.
Each bath of finished product should be tested and approved individually before it is being released to the market.
The entire process from acquiring of raw materials until testing of finished product will definitely affect the profit margin, but this is of utmost important to ensure the quality of organic natural body care product will never be compromised.
Instead, the cost of advertising and promotion, middle person such as distributors and retailers, and unnecessary luxury packaging should be eliminated.
The next time when you choose the organic natural body care product, put in a little more effort to look beyond its label, will benefit you the long way.
