- 1). Turn off the power to all equipment and unplug the electrical cables.
- 2). Connect the coaxial cable from the Dish Network satellite coaxial jack to the "RF IN" jack on the back of the VIP 772 DVR, turning the connector ring on the cable end clockwise.
- 3). Plug in the HDMI cable from the single HDMI output jack on the VIP 772 DVR to an input jack on the HDTV.
- 4). Connect a composite AV cable from the three output/play jacks on the back of the VCR to the three composite inputs on the HDTV.
- 5). Hook up the second composite cable from the input/record jacks on the VCR to the outputs on the HDTV.
- 6). Plug in and turn on all the components.
- 7). Press the source selection button on the HDTV remote control to switch between the VIP 772 DVR and the VCR.
